Brushing
Plaque builds up rather quickly after eating and drinking. Fortunately, plaque can be easily removed by brushing. But you should brush at least twice a day to prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease.
Flossing
Flossing is an effective way to clean areas where a tooth brush cannot reach. To floss properly, wrap 18" of floss around the middle finger of each hand. Gently slide the floss under the gum line and between each tooth. Also be sure to slide the floss up and down the side of each tooth. Use a clean section of floss for each tooth.
Mouth Rinses
Over-the-counter mouth rinses can freshen your breath and remove loose food particles after brushing and flossing. Please remember, mouth rinses are not a substitute for daily brushing and flossing, and regular dental exams.
We accept many types of Dental Insurance. To be confident you should call the Our Dental Office at 1-215-969-2015 to verify whether or not we take the type of insurance you have.
